Excel: Recent Enhancements
Part of a series on 2024 Excel. This short course covers the enhancements to existing tools used to input data into Excel, and the introduction of new features. It looks at improvements to the lists usability, new calendar and checkbox format controls, and upgrades to working with images.
This module will enable you to
- Understand the improvements made to Data Validation lists
- Utilise the Calendar control to easily input dates
- Apply checkboxes for the input of true/false values
- Insert pictures into cells
- Use the IMAGE function to return images dynamically

Some of the new Excel features and updates have been eagerly requested for many years and will greatly improve the elegance and efficiency of inputting data such as dates, Boolean values, and images in Excel, ensuring a better user experience and a reduction in errors related to data quality.
